Want to tour our camp properties, see the insides of the cabins and tents, and find out more about tScreen shot 2013-02-05 at 11.11.19 AMhe resident camp programs?  If so, be sure to visit the Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines’ Resident Camps annual Open House events this March. This is a great way to see all of the wonderful assets at the camp properties.

Camp staff will be on site to answer questions about the day-to-day life of a camper, recommended packing lists, and why going to camp is such a delightful experience. Registered and potential campers are encouraged to attend with their families to meet our fabulous staff and learn what there is to discover at camp.  Bring a picnic lunch and drop by one or all of the camps for an afternoon of adventure this spring.

Registration is not required but recommended; all families that register will receive a confirmation packet with the camp’s physical address, directions and event contact information.  All of the Open Houses are scheduled from 1:00pm – 4:00pm on Sundays throughout March. Visitors may come at any time during the Open House hours as there is no set schedule for the events.

Camp Hardee on March 10th will be hosting the first Open House. On March 17th, Camp Mary Atkinson will be welcoming prospective campers for organized tours.  The last Open House, will be at Camp Graham on March 24th.

To register for any or all of these events, please visit our Council Online Registration System (C.O.R.E.).  Girls do not have to be Girl Scouts to attend Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines’ resident camps. The Open House events are free and open to the public.
