Every Girl Scout Cookie season begins with a goal.

For some girls, it’s attending summer camp. For others, it’s traveling with their troop, earning a Highest Award, serving their community, or simply challenging themselves to do something they’ve never done before. Along the way, girls discover that selling cookies isn’t just about reaching a number; it’s about finding their voice, building confidence, and realizing they’re capable of more than they ever imagined.

That spirit of courage, confidence, and growth filled Camp Mary Atkinson as Girl Scouts, families, volunteers, and staff gathered for the 2026 Top Seller Celebration, an annual event recognizing the incredible achievements of this year’s Cookie Program.

Throughout the season, Girl Scouts across central and eastern North Carolina learned to introduce themselves to new customers, set ambitious goals, manage money, solve problems, and persevere through unexpected challenges. Every conversation, every booth sale, and every goal reached became another opportunity to strengthen leadership skills that will serve them for years to come.

Before we recognize this year’s top sellers, let’s take a look at the incredible impact Girl Scouts made across central and eastern North Carolina during the 2026 Cookie Program.

These numbers tell an incredible story, but the true impact can be found in the confidence girls gained, the friendships they strengthened, and the leadership they demonstrated every step of the way.

Celebrating Extraordinary Achievement

The Top Sellers Luncheon honored five Girl Scouts whose dedication and perseverance placed them among this year’s highest sellers.

The council also recognized Valentina B. as this year’s Top Operation Cookie Drop seller. Her efforts helped provide thousands of donated packages to military members and hometown heroes, reminding us that the Cookie Program is not only about reaching personal goals—it’s also about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

A Well-Deserved Celebration

After the awards were presented, the celebration continued outside, where Girl Scouts traded cookie booths for barnyard fun at a special petting zoo.

Girls laughed as they fed a gentle Highland cow, cuddled rabbits, and met a variety of friendly farm animals alongside their families and fellow Girl Scouts. It was the perfect way to celebrate months of hard work while creating even more memories together.

Because that’s what Girl Scouts is all about.

It’s about discovering the confidence to try something new. It’s about learning that setbacks can become opportunities. It’s about celebrating accomplishments, both big and small, with the people who cheer you on every step of the way.
