Fall will be here before we know it, and at Girl Scouts, that means it’s time for our Fall Product Program! During the Fall Product Program, Girl Scouts can sell nuts, candy, and magazine subscriptions to help earn some startup funds for their troop and practice their business skills! Girl Scouts can participate individually or with their troop, and can sell in-person or online! This year’s Fall Product Program mascot is the emperor penguin. Learn more about the penguin with this fun learning activity guide. Girl Scouts will also be able to create their own avatar in their digital shop and explore Antartica!

Important Dates

• October 1, 2021: Fall Product Program officially begins

• October 22, 2021: Face-to-face nut and candy sales end, online orders continue

• November 7, 2021: Fall Product Program ends

• November 13-16, 2021: Nut and candy orders arrive

Treats for Troops

Treats for Troops is back! This program gives girls the opportunity to support our military troops by collecting donations that go towards purchasing and delivering nuts and candies to local military organizations. Girl Scouts who collect at least 5 donations for Treats for Troops will earn a Care to Share patch.

During the month of September, tell us your Fall Program favorites on our social media posts. See who else enjoys your favorite nuts/candies and join our Girl Scout community in celebrating these delicious treats.

Emperor Penguin on the Scene!

Our plush Emperor Penguin is new to the Fall Program scene this year. We would love to hear your name suggestions in recognition of our new mascot. Submit your name suggestions in the comment section of our Emperor Penguin on the Scene social media posts by September 17. The Top 3 names will be included in a vote and the winner will be announced on October 1. We can’t wait to hear all your creative name ideas.

Win the Giant Plush Penguin!

Girl Scouts who send more than 18 emails inviting friends and family to their Fall Program online shop will be entered into a drawing for our giant Emperor Penguin! Participants will receive one entry for every 18 emails sent. The more emails sent, the more chances to win! Winners will be chosen after the program ends on November 7.

Fall Program Supports Girl Scout Adventures!

We want to hear how your troop plans to use your Fall Program proceeds to support your Girl Scout adventures. Share your troop plans for Fall Product Program proceeds here by September 22. All entries will be shared with our Girl Scout community in a video.

Every Girl Scout who submits an entry will receive a 2021 Fall Program Goal Getter patch to celebrate you striving to reach your troop goal. The Goal Getter patch is not offered in our 2021 Fall Program rewards line-up. This a great way to share your excitement about the Fall Program and earn an additional recognition.
