It’s that time of year again, Girl Scouts! Early bird registration for the 2019-20 program year kicks off on April 1st. With all of the great things our G.I.R.L.s (Go-getters, Risk-takers, Leaders) have accomplished this year, we cannot wait to see what they do with the next!

Girl Scout members who renew  between April 1st and April 30th can help their troop and service unit earn additional thank you gifts for being ahead of the game! Check out the sweet incentives for Early Bird Registration below!

April 12: For Troops

Troops that qualify will receive one $25 program credit for up to 12 girls renewed, or one $35 program credit for more than 12 girls renewed. Program credits can be applied towards any Girl Scouts– North Carolina Coastal Pines program featured in Activities. Troop leaders will receive an email by August with their troop’s program credit and instructions on applying it.

To qualify: Troops must renew at least 75% of their girl members by April 12, register or renew 2 adult co-leaders, have no product sales program debt, and submit the Annual Troop Finance Report by June 1st. 

April 30: For Service Units

Service units who renew:

• 50% of girls by April 30 will receive $200 to use for an area event
• 65% of girls by April 30 will receive $300 to use for an area event

To qualify: Service Units units must renew into troops at least 50% of currently registered girls by April 30, have an active service unit bank account, renew or register at least 2 Service Unit Leadership Team members, and submit the Annual Financial Report by June 1st.

June 30: For Every G.I.R.L.

As an additional thank you, we will give a special Early Bird Renewal patch to every girl who renews her membership. Patches will be distributed to troop leaders at the kick-off of the 2020 membership year.

To qualify: Renew her membership between April 1 and June 30, 2019.
