Do something outside every day.

It is so important to spend time outdoors! If you’re looking for outdoor activities for when it’s cold, then check out our last blog post, or browse our 2019 Summer Fun Guide to pick out your favorite summer camp sessions before registration opens on February 4th!

Take the lead in a community service project.

Take action and make an impact in 2019! Work on your Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award, or start volunteering at your local soup kitchen, animal shelter, or nursing home! Choose a cause that you are passionate about and make a difference.

Visit a place you have always wanted to go.

Plan a trip with your Girl Scout troop using your proceeds from the cookie program, or set out on a new adventure with your family. Get out and explore, Girl Scout!

Make friends with someone who is different than you.

Make new friends, but keep the old! Introduce yourself to someone who is new at school or start a conversation with a girl in your troop that you don’t know that well.

Be a risk-taker and try something you have always wanted to do, but were too scared.

Audition for the lead role in your school’s play, or try out for the soccer team! When you step outside of your comfort zone, the possibilities are endless!

Happy New Year, Girl Scouts! Don’t forget to share all of the awesome things you do in 2019 with us here!
