C.O.R.E. NO MORE! Activity Registrations Now Available In My GS!

Great news! We’re excited to announce that on August 3rd* we launched our online event and activity registrations on My GS, accessible through our council website!

So what does this mean exactly?

For those of you that may be new to our website, C.O.R.E. was our online portal for all council event, training, and activity registration. That meant two logins for every family, one to our My GS community and one to our activity registration. We decided to simplify the process by integrating our council’s activity registrations into My GS. Now you only have to log into one place to manage both membership and event registrations, view troop activities on the calendar in the Volunteer Toolkit, and find community and area activities in the same place as council-sponsored activities.

We currently have our activities organized as council-sponsored activities, community partner activities, and local area activities. Activities could include events, trainings, and community partnerships.

Council-sponsored activities are organized by the council program teams and the volunteer experience team and registration is coordinated through the council.  These activities are often hosted in conjunction with outside program providers or with the assistance of our wonderful volunteers. They could also include adult and volunteer trainings facilitated by staff or volunteers.

Community partner activities are organized by an outside program provider who also coordinates registration for the event such as Disney on Ice and Girl Scout Night at the Carolina Hurricanes.

Local area activities are Girl Scout events organized by local area volunteers. Registration may be coordinated through the council or through a local area event director or service unit volunteer.

All of these activities are opportunities for girls to have fun, make new friends, and try something new!


To register for activities in My GS:

  1. Find the activity either on the Activities page on our website or on the Activities tab in your My GS Member Profile.
  2. Select the Register Now button and then choose your participants.You also have the option to add multiple events to the My Activities cart and then checkout later.
  3. Review your registration and click “continue” to proceed to checkout.
  4. Contact the Customer Care Center if you need assistance at helpdesk@nccoastalpines.org or 800-284-4475.

There are lots of new activities being offered this year – so we’ve got something for every Girl Scout! Explore the site and try something new!

*Events and activities will be visible on My GS on August 3. Registration for this year’s events and activities will be available beginning on August 10.
