**Please note Early Bird Registration will now open April 16, 2015. Thank you!!

Early Bird Registration starts April 16th and here’s the top three reasons why you don’t want to miss the opportunity to be a Girl Scout VIP!

1. Free stuff! What girl doesn’t love the chance to add a little more ‘flare’ to her Girl Scout uniform? By renewing before June 30th, you will receive the brand new 2016 Early Bird patch. Be a total fashionista and set the latest trend by being the first girl in your troop to wear this fun patch!

Plus each troop can earn a little fun swag as well. By renewing now, you will not only hold your spot in your troop and help your co-leaders better plan for next year’s fun, but each troop that renews 5 girls and 2 adults will also earn a $15 Council Gift Card. What a fabulous way to kick-off your next troop year.

And there’s more! Each and every week during the Early Bird registration period, we will be surprising one lucky troop with an additional $10 Gift Card. All troops with 5 girls and 2 adults that have renewed for 2016 are eligible for the weekly drawing – each week you’ll have the chance to like or comment on a Facebook post to lock-in your chance to win!

2. Unicorn Riding Lessons! Okay, so technically we don’t really offer unicorn riding lessons but Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines does present a whole year of amazing opportunities from summer resident camps, to scavenger hunts and museum trips, to visits with top scientists at research laboratories.

Do you want to go rock climbing? Do you want to see a professional sports team and ‘meet and greet’ the players? Do you want to learn about folk arts or how about spending an entire day creating your own crafts? We’re putting the finishing touches on these events and so much more for our 2016 program year calendar. By renewing your membership before June 30th, you can be an Early Bird VIP and help ensure we have the resources needed to continue planning these remarkable opportunities.

3. Beat the Rush! Face it, we’re all busy these days and warmer afternoons will soon beckon us to lazy afternoons by the pool and long weekends with friends and family around the picnic table. By renewing before June 30th, you will secure your spot in your troop and help minimize the paperwork hassle later so your leaders can hit the ground running as soon as the new school year begins. Why wait in line if you don’t have too? Relax, Early Bird! Renew by June 30th and you get to check off one more thing on your back-to-school-to-do list.

So let’s recap, shall we? As a Girl Scout Early Bird VIP you’ll earn flare for your uniform, do your part to earn a little swag for your troop, help your troop be eligible to win even more swag in our weekly drawings, all summer long you’ll feel more connected to your troop and your council by providing resources for optimal planning to make 2016 the best year ever, and you get to jump to the head of the line before fall registration. Now isn’t that a pretty sweet package deal of awesomeness for our Early Birds?
