As a 20-year veteran Girl Scout, adult volunteer, Family Partnership coordinator and Family Partnership donor, I can’t wait to experience all the fun and exciting things that lie ahead this year for our Girl Scouts and their families!
I can’t wait to tell everyone why they should donate.
I can’t wait to show the bang they get for their buck.
I can’t wait for everyone to know that 86% of every dollar donated goes to program services.
Donations to Girl Scouts – NC Coastal Pines’ Family Partnership Campaign are important because EVERY girl deserves the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouts. It assures that being a Girl Scout is affordable. Imagine having to pay $180 per year – the cost to support one girl for one year.
Many years my family would have struggled and in all likelihood, my oldest would not have been able to grow from a Girl Scout Daisy to a Girl Scout Senior, earn her Girl Scout Silver and Gold Awards, or be serving as the Girl Scout leader that she is today without the support of this campaign. Even some of the fees associated with required trainings for certain activities or volunteer roles, despite being low, would have been a financial strain for our family.
With Family Partnership, I was able to become the Girl Scout leader I wanted to be and participate in all the wonderful experiences that Girl Scouting provided my daughter and my troop (and me)!
I can’t wait for everyone to know that by giving to Family Partnership, they ensure our leaders supported; they ensure our camps affordable for all girls; they ensure our events accessible to our Girl Scouts and their families; they ensure our volunteers are well trained; and most importantly, they make certain our Girl Scouts have every opportunity to grow into Tomorrow’s Leaders.
There are many stories of why adults participate in this campaign. Hear from supporters in this video and you’ll understand why you should give to Family Partnership. You’ll be the one saying “I can’t wait to contribute to Family Partnership.”
And if you can’t wait another minute, donate now!
