Because of you, girls are not only discovering the world around them, but they are also discovering their own strengths, values and interests.  They are learning how to work cooperatively with others and how they can stand up for what they believe in.  Because of you – the Girl Scout volunteer, girls are discovering the leader within them and reaching their full potential.

As the nation pauses to celebrate National Volunteer Week, Girl Scouts – NC Coastal Pines thanks all of our amazing volunteers who help the Girl Scout experience come to life for girls throughout central and eastern North Carolina.  Over our proud, rich history, Girl Scouts has depended on and benefitted from countless volunteers for more than a century, starting with Juliette Gordon Low, the Founder of the Girl Scout Movement.

What you do for girls is invaluable – you are role models, cheerleaders, mentors, coaches and much, much more.  Your tireless efforts are helping develop girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.  Girl Scouts is the best leadership experience for girls in the world; however, the mission could not come alive without you and your committed service.

To the over 10,000 volunteers of Girl Scouts – NC Coastal Pines, thank you for investing your time and talent in our next generation of leaders and making a difference in the lives of girls.  Because of YOU, girls are speaking up, standing out and being the best girl they can possibly be through Girl Scouting.  Thank you!
