Who is ready to celebrate the largest girl-led organization in the world?! Girl Scout Week will take place Sunday, March 7, through Saturday, March 13, and our 109th birthday is on March 12! This year, our theme is commUNITY, and our festivities will be centered around what makes our Girl Scout family one, and we will be focusing on the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Girl Scouts can work towards our Girl Scout Birthday patch program by discovering, connecting, and taking action with our Movement.
Each day, we will be posting contests on our Facebook page where you can share your experiences celebrating with us to win big! See below for ways to participate and share with us.
March 7 – Girl Scout Sunday
Celebrate Girl Scouts with your faith community.
• Wear your uniform to your place of worship.
• Earn My Promise, My Faith.
• Attend your place of worship and offer a greeting or perform a service.
• Purchase the Girl Scout Sunday patch by emailing shop@nccoastalpines.org.
• Share Girl Scout Sunday experience with us!

March 8 – Sister Squad Monday
You’re part of the Girl Scout sisterhood, rock your Girl Scout spirit!
• Learn about our global sisterhood – World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
• Expand the sister squad by inviting a friend.
• Learn about the diversity our sisterhood by participating in the Thrive activities.
• Share your sister squad stories with us!

March 9 – Girl Scout Traditions Tuesday
Discover some of the Girl Scout traditions that unify our Movement.
• Put the Girl Scout Law into action.
• Learn the songs that Girl Scouts know and love, like “Make New Friends”.
• Learn our Girl Scout history.
• Share your songs and favorite Girl Scout memories / traditions with us.

March 10 – Network of Good Wednesday
Mobilize your Girl Scout network to impact your community.
• Perform community service.
• Tackle a Take Action project.
• Speak up / advocate for what you believe in.
• Support Operation Cookie Drop by writing a letter/story or draw a picture to be sent to military troops along with Girl Scout Cookies.
