Our Chatham County Girl Scouts kicked-off the 2017 cookie season early with a visit from our Daisy Mobile Program Vehicle! Girls in troops #4320, #4321, #4381, #1078 and #997 gathered in the Briar Chapel Clubhouse to participate in a financial literacy skill-building event and to learn everything they need to know about being a Cookie Boss. 🙂
Program Director Melissa Almodovar, with the help of the Daisy Mobile Unit, had lots of fun games and activities for the girls to learn about safety when selling cookies, how to best approach customers, and of course they sampled each cookie that will be for sale this year!
Sampling cookies is ALWAYS fun.
Boards to show customers the cookies that are available to buy.
Thank you notes for customers.
It was hard to say goodbye to Daisy. We hope that she comes back to Chatham County again soon!
Shout out to Kristan and Melissa for putting together such a fun event! Head over to our website to learn more about Girl Scout Cookies and the amazing things girls do with cookie proceeds. We’ve also got everything you need to know about our Daisy Mobile Unit and how you can bring Girl Scout fun to your troop!
